Online course on preparing Russian safety data sheets (SDS) for chemical products

The Russian Safety Data Sheet (SDS) is a mandatory component of the technical documentation for chemical products (substances, mixtures, materials, and industrial waste). It is intended to provide users with accurate information on the safe industrial handling, storage, transport, and disposal of chemical products, as well as their use for household purposes.

 A SDS is developed for any chemical product, including but not limited to the following categories: household chemicals, paints and coatings, pesticides and agrochemicals, explosives, oils and cutting fluids, petroleum products, minerals, extracts and natural material derivatives, basic chemical substances and mixtures, and other types.

The organization (or individual) responsible for placing chemical products on the market (manufacturer, supplier, importer, or seller) is obligated to provide the consumer with a SDS free of charge.
