VJaitra Air Mobility is an advanced aerospace startup leading India's journey into sustainable urban air transportation. Founded by aerospace innovator Ratandeep Tripathi, VJaitra is the first Indian company to hold two patents on full-scale VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft—one for design and another for utility innovations. The company focuses on building hydrogen-powered and electric air taxis designed to serve both metropolitan and underserved regions across India and globally.
Its flagship models include the groundbreaking V-600x, a hydrogen-powered air taxi with a 600 km range, capable of carrying one pilot and four passengers. The V-600x is a unique innovation aimed at solving long-distance aerial mobility in an eco-friendly manner. VJaitra’s aircraft are being developed under DGCA guidelines and supported by leading Indian institutions like IIM Lucknow.
The company has secured LOIs worth $300 million for the supply of 25 VTOLs post-certification starting 2027, including key partnerships with operators such as Mewar Helicopters and UrtriO Aviation.
VJaitra is actively building global partnerships, particularly in the Middle East, and exploring Joint Ventures in hydrogen aviation. and expansion plans under a TOT (Transfer of Technology) model, VJaitra is shaping the future of clean, efficient, and inclusive air mobility.
