Terracool
About
TerraCool is a sustainable cooling innovation designed using terracotta, water circulation, sand layering, copper coils, and natural airflow principles inspired by ancient cooling systems. The concept focuses on reducing temperature naturally while minimizing electricity consumption and environmental impact.
The system is specially designed for industrial plants and high-temperature working environments where conventional air conditioners and normal coolers are difficult to use effectively due to excessive heat, exhaust limitations, or operational conditions. The terracotta structure absorbs heat naturally when wet, while the integrated water circulation and copper coil mechanism improve cooling efficiency through continuous evaporation and airflow management.
The design includes layered sand and pebble filtration for cleaner water circulation, reduced choking of pumps, low maintenance, and prevention of mosquito breeding through natural drying and absorption mechanisms. The cooling structure is intended as an eco-conscious alternative for sustainable industrial infrastructure and productivity-oriented environmental systems.
The concept was acknowledged by RCF in 2020 and remains open for industrial presentation, global collaboration, research partnerships, and sustainable innovation opportunities under international platforms and green technology initiatives.
