Circadian Connect: Responsible AI & Digital Governance Lab

Circadian Connect is a research-led advisory and collaboration lab focused on responsible AI governance, socio-technical risk assessment, and digital policy design. We combine social science research, nutrition and health governance expertise, and technical understanding of AI systems to support organisations in building trustworthy and inclusive technologies.

Our work bridges India–Germany and broader BRICS–EU ecosystems, with experience in collaborating with global tech companies, academic institutions, and policy networks. We support partners who want to align their AI and data-driven solutions with emerging governance frameworks, including safety, fairness, and social impact considerations.

Key services include:

– Responsible AI and digital governance advisory (policies, processes, and institutional design)

– Socio-technical impact assessment for AI and data projects (including health, nutrition, and social protection domains)

– Capacity building for early-career researchers and teams on AI ethics, governance, and interdisciplinary research methods

– Design and facilitation of India–Germany and BRICS collaboration projects in AI, social policy, and sustainable technology
